Apex Leadership
“After 20 years of providing patient care as an attending physician and treating thousands of people, one thing became very apparent to me. I didn’t want to just live a long life. I wanted to live a healthy life staying fit and strong. I would not let myself become one of the statistics where the average person loses 3-8% of muscle mass per decade beginning in their 30s. The consequences of this muscle loss include metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance and progressive weakness.I worked to optimize my hormones and supplementation resulting in fat loss and muscle gains throughout my early 50s. It has become my goal to pass this knowledge on to as many men as possible and to provide them with the best life they can live.”

Michael Taradash, PA-C, started his journey in Men's Health while training for athletics first as a young athlete playing town sports later as a two-sport college athlete. This led to an early career working as a strength and conditioning coach. Having also a drive to help people struggling with illness, he began his healthcare roles first as a volunteer EMT and later a paramedic in the Boston area.
He attended physician assistant school at Mass. General Hospital, receiving his initial training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital before moving to North Shore Medical Center in Salem.
During this journey he struggled with weight gain. He came to a crossroads with obesity and depression before finding the same type of treatment he now provides to others; ultimately losing almost 100 pounds and becoming a competitive athlete once again. Mike passionately believes that Apex Men's Health can help everyone not only reclaim their vitality but unlock their potential.
